"Banks sprawled on his back and grinned up at the ceiling. "Next time," he said in a conversational tone, "we shall last longer. I will lick and suck you into my mouth."
Mmh, I just love historicals. Everyone is always so... eloquent and polite.
This is my second book by Summer Devon after The Bohemian and the Banker, which I also enjoyed very much.
It was a very well-written and bittersweet short story about overcoming grief.
The first part was nothing but wonderful, but the second part was a little too rushed and would have benefited from at least an epilogue.
But nonetheless, it was a very heartwarming and enjoyable read.
